CHANZONETAS. Gaspar Fernández & Alonso de Bonilla

This project constitutes the world premiere recording of a collection of 18 chanzonetas found towards the end of the Poetic-Musical Songbook of Gaspar Fernández, all set to poems from the collection “Peregrinos Pensamientos” by Alonso de Bonilla, a poet from Baeza who published this collection in 1614 in the same Andalusian city.
